An adventure almost complete. A journey that started Sunday, in the sun no less, is almost over. Normally a hop to Buffalo, and return to Toronto the following day, 246-247 are a full day behind, having used at least 2 extra crews to complete a herculean effort that clearly had significant involvement from "Murphy". The former warbonnet had garnered a great deal of interest and attention as it sat at Lambton for 5 hours turning what is a popular day train over to the "Dark Side".....only to reappear 30 hours later at Welland where more suffering took place.

In proof of their great determination, they've just summited the Niagara Escarpment and are about the enter the final 50 miles to home.....and a rest.

  1. I look at this rather nice image and think, “Well, at least somebody caught it.”
    Jolly good show.

  2. At least the guy at the corner got out of your shot. Well done
