Another station, long gone. The CP structure at Bolton was a popular place for rail photographers over its' day. It was built in 1906, with passenger service ending in 1979 after the formation of VIA. The building remained as a train order office until 1986, when it was closed and boarded up, as seen in this image. The station fell steadily into disrepair, and as a result was demolished in 1990.
Image shot with Speed Graphic using 4x5 inch b/w neg, at 125 f4.7 as it was another overcast dull day.

  1. Is there a station still there in Bolton Mr Mooney? Another fine documentation.

  2. Not that I am aware of, Brad. It turned into a land of urban sprawl.
