Back when I was young(er) and more adventurous, I would wander up to the lookout at Dundas Peak and wait for some trains to record with my old Pentax 1000. I'd not do this trek any more; too damn lazy; but these days the area is pretty much off limits and even hiking to the Peak requires paid parking and I think controlled hours. In this morning view we see CN 3105 east; I have distorted this image, unfortunately, shooting full out 210 MM with a cheapo lens but at least caught the memories. It is a long time back but I know I made the hike because that is my car parked at the Dundas station.

    Nice view. Are you dangling from a kite? You’re way ahead of the times with your version of a drone shot.

    I didn’t wander too close to the edge because whenever I was up there and waiting; I thought of those who had fallen. And there were a few.

    It’s a bird, no it’s a plane! No….its another SUPER photo! Never get tired of seeing more Dundas station photos. And a wintry one to boot. Too bad a mere 12 years later and this scene was no more.
