Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia Railway (CBNS) caboose # 2000 is pictured sitting in the community of Port Hastings, which is situated on the southwestern tip of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. The van was former CN 79509 and was used frequently by CBNS crews at the time. Today, photos online and a satellite view show this van still stored on CBNS property on a siding at Afton Station.
