Caption: CN GP9RM 4126, along with Norfolk Southern C40-9W’s 8914 and 8931 are pictured at Dain City, which was situated near Welland, Ontario. Both NS GE’s are only a few months old having been built in February 1996 and they also have NW caboose 555019 with them. Looking back, this was one area I wish I had more photos of, as the small intermodal yard eventually closed in 1998. Today, this area is still operated by GIO Rail, which services Verbio and SLM Recycling from the Canal Spur.
