Come on, there's nothing wrong with the former Raillink scheme.. give 1400 a lil' love. Soon it might get paint! Then we'll have three, but back in October, I was hoping for a matched pair but 6508 was taken out due to finding too much tin in the oil tests. After further work and re-testing, it was a false positive.... but can you really be dissapointed with a pair of F units hauling freight? Nope.

  1. Just stick an OSR logo on the front and call it a day.

  2. Really? How did you know they did quantitative chemical analysis on the locomotives? I had no idea they tested the oil. Who did that work (i.e. submitted the samples for analysis)?

  3. I’m with Eric. The blue is okay with me, but the orange parallelogram needs an emblem or letters.

  4. Kevin I had a chat with staff in Salford.

Osr regularly tests oil, it is a good indicator of problems and they have to hand deliver product to testing labs.

  5. Larry there’s a logo you can see through the paint LOL, very faint
