CP 8757 heads up and eight-car CP 254 as they near Welland Yard. They'd work Welland before continuing onto NS in Buffalo, New York. This marked the second Monday in a row that 254 crossed the border (normally running as a Welland Turn on Mondays) - a new operating profile perhaps?

  1. From all of us that got clouded out at Kay Drage Park, you stink! :) Clearly I should have went for a drive! Another fine photo James.

  2. Now that is a choice shot. I guess you get full marks for this one ….too bad for that poor ol’ Smith kid you left in the dust. :o )

  3. Thank you for your sympathy, Mr. Mooney…

  4. Thanks guys.

There was some serious cloud roulette going on here earlier in the day when TE11 came back from Smithville so I can imagine how things looked at Kay Drage. Sorry to hear it didn’t work out! But the endless pursuit wouldn’t be the same if they all did I suppose.

  5. I was one of the folks at Kay Drage park, but I had hedged my bets by doing at least one shot north of Hamilton in sun first.

Of course on my way home, right after Kay Drage there wasn’t a cloud in the sky north of town.. we basically were skunked by the last cloud :)

Sorry Rob heheheh, hopefully there’s sun again soon.

  6. Also 254 did not run yesterday. Planned today. So not running on Wednesdays now?

  7. Yeah they need to be doing something different, because despite going over to Buffalo on Monday last week, they were back on the usual schedule by the end of the week (I did not pay attention to how they caught up last week).

  8. LOL, you crazy kids (foamers) always make me laugh. What one does to get “the shot” :-)
    BTW well done James!
