Everyone is out enjoying the beautiful weather these days; and for some asinine reason I thought this might be a good time to offer up an image taken in just about the lousiest weather imaginable. So here is Amtrak 348, eastbound on the Grimsby Sub as train #97, stopped at the old CN station at Ontario St in Grimsby. Damp, cold and downright miserable. Some days I wondered why I bothered.........

  1. I guess you bothered Arnold because you were recording history with shots like this and it is something never to be seen again. Great shot thanks.

  2. Appreciate the comment. I do forget what compelled me to drive the mileage from St. Kitts (where I was living at the time) just to see Amtrak in such awful weather. But I liked the station and had been ‘neglecting’ it. :o )

  3. There must have been a woman involved.

  4. Trying to avoid one? No, not at all. Nice try though.

  5. I thing Mr. Mooney, we all do things for asinine reasons. Brave getting out in that weather
