Finally some fresh power in Streetsville. It’s been a long and predictable summer for H24 but thankfully some nice news popped up over the weekend with a friends report that fresh CPKC 3085 was sitting in Lambton yard in West Toronto. Today luck would have it facing the wrong way westbound but a stop at Ardent mill to lift three hoppers allowed a few clean nose shots. Thankfully while running errands in the afternoon I heard him clearing Hornby heading back home so I headed to the GO station for a passing shot. Eventually this paint will grow on me but at least for now it’s fresh and clean.

  1. That’s a tall signal on the far left. The 3085 appears to still have an original bell, nice. :-)

  2. Signal is higher due to the curve and clutter on the GO transit platform

  3. damn

  4. How many units now in the new scheme? Will have to head down the street and see 3085 parked at Lambton.

  5. For geeps I’ve logged 4412, 4418, 3058, 3072, 3085, 3092. Also saw a pic online of an SD60 in CPKC paint – 6222. Not counting GEs here; too many.

  6. Thanks Kevin I saw 3085 parked on the bridge at Runnymede next to the Lambton office.
