Foreign colours in the lineup  
Five ex-CN GMD1's are tucked into a string of retired ONR locomotives, passenger cars, and other rolling stock in an ONR deadline at North Bay, ON May 4, 2004. 
Several of the ex-CN units were stenciled INCO on the side of the cab under the running number. 
The ex-CN units in the lineup were CN 1116, CN 1153, CN 1169, CN 1170, and CN 1172.

  2. It looks like most of these units were resold to Southern Railway of BC (SRY) as their 1200′s: https://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php/Canadian_National_Railway_1101-1182

  3. The 1069 (1169) was a regular in Redwater in the mid 80′s, the 1070 (1179) made a number of trips one summer and never returned. Less than 20 years later it’s the dead line. When you see SD40′s and the like now being used to spot the super elevators, (and other industrial situations), little 1200hp switchers are not the first choice anymore. :-(
