Getting off work in the middle of the night, a drive to Seaforth was in order. Earlier in the day, a friend had mentioned seeing GEXR 3523 tied down next to Seaforth Elevators. Taking a chance, 3523 was indeed parked there, seen beyond the name sign, but north of Main Street was the main subject. GEXR 581 is tied down on the Goderich Sub main, where Mammoet crews have spent the previous day preparing equipment to transload a large transformer for Hydro One.
