Nice catch. I’ve only caught these IC units in CN paint trailing.

Thanks, yes most of the time they were trailing position, most of the foreign power from that era trailed but its fair share would lead as well, a lot of the foreign power was swapped out at Sarnia but some did go east. A lot of foreign power had to be wyed at Sarnia to have a proper lead unit, pretty sure crews complained heavily and that era ended.
