Here's a long ago shot of what I understand is the second caboose to be numbered 54 on the Essex Terminal Railway. This was previously part of the PRR fleet, as evident by those round windows. I'm unsure of the location of this shot along the railway, and also have no idea where this particular caboose ended up, and would appreciate help.

    I think this was a third 54. The first 54 was identical to ETL 55 which can be seen here in Bill Thomson’s 1965 shot: http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=30567 now on display at the Gibson Gallery in Amherstburg. What would seem to be the second 54 is seen with this third 54 here: http://www.trainweb.org/oldtimetrains/photos/etr/rolling_stock.htm

    The second 54/55 were ex UP it would seem.

    This would be on the north side of Ojibway Yard.
