  1. I find this very interesting, Matt. Why? Because until recently I had not seen the HLCX in this paint scheme, but a recent road trip had me seeing them all over the place. Examples: HLCX 3854, 3852, 3847 at Lakeview, Oregon; 3883 at Burlington, Iowa; and quite a few others seem to be showing up on Class1s or shortlines all over North America. There must be one heck of a fleet.
    And all the paint jobs looked very recent.

  2. awmooney- I believe it, there are at least four of them on the Great Sandhills Railway right now. Some HLCX, some FURX. This paint must be cheap or something.
