I was catching the VIA in Aldershot to go visit some friends in the Kingston area, and figured I'd take my camera with me just in case as I knew 1439 was assigned to Aldershot. I had yet to get a GMD-1 in my viewfinder before this day, though I had seen them many times in the past working Aldershot prior to me ever shooting trains. The day also marked the first dusting of snow for the season, adding a bit to an otherwise dreary day. The traffic in the background are the typical sights for the yard.
