Ice Storm damage, is evident and the Killean mileboard seems to double as a cross-arm supporting the signal wires. CP Train 640 with CEFX 1052, CSXT 4042 and CSXT 860 is passing through this glistening winter wonderland as trees droop precariously over the right of way and blades of grass struggle to stand up, all covered in ice.

  1. Now this is amazing. For someone who ‘parks his ass in the grass’ many times during the warm weather to watch trains by the KILLEAN sign, I must confess I would have never recognized the location if it wasn’t for the sign. A nice shot, taken at a time where most of us would rather stay home and keep warm.

  2. Fantastic dynamic range !

  3. Great shot.

  4. Great shot! Wish I could have been out more after the ice storm.

  5. Great shot. All we had down this way was rain.
