I'm just west of Hwy 6, enjoying a beautiful June day, and catching a decent train as well. CP 4719 and 4731 are the power on this westbound. This pair of M-636s have now been gone from the roster for over 30 years. It was a real treat to hear these beasts rumble by, and the bonus was...back then, no ticks !!

  1. You really captured just how good those Big M’s looked running elephant style !

  2. So they must have extended the siding after this because it goes weat around the curve..

    Nice.

  3. The siding rounded the curve when I started in 1973, so I’m a bit confused.

  4. Now we have a mystery on our hands. Puslinch hasn’t changed size according to old timetables I have scans of. So, where was this magnificent shot taken??

  5. Thanks for the compliment, Dave; but I think that is the Hwy 6 bridge in the far background.
So, I guess this is anyone’s guess.

  6. Could be an illusion as the mainline is lifted way higher than siding?

Was and is the powerlines lining up? Ill agree the signal and bridge look correct

  7. It is 100% correct
