In what is usually a train to travel down the CP MacTier in the early hours of the morning, this time it ran late several hours giving railfans a slight opportunity to catch it with daylight. As the sun quickly faded railfans were aware CP 7020 was in the lead and some were brave to venture trackside for it. Luckily, I live close by so I also made my way out as the snowstorm paused for a while. This would be the first time it has lead on the CP MacTier to my knowledge.
