It's almost 2:30 in the morning and all is quiet at the shared VIA/GO station in Kitchener. The indoor and outdoor lighting highlights the turn of the century architecture that is a big part of old Kitchener. Goodrich - Exeter train #580s power sits quietly infant of the station after returning from a trip up to Elmira only an hour earlier. In a few short hours the station will be bustling with activity as Toronto bound commuters fill the platform.

  1. I guess there is no point in asking why some strange dude is wandering around at two-thirty in the morning………:o)

  2. Very nice!

  3. Ah the joys of night shift
    LOL

  4. Darn that BASR hut eh.. probably screws up the arch shot from perpendicular…

Marcus is our night watchman Arnold. He’s there when no one else wants to be.

  5. As sleepy as the nightshift might leave you, I always enjoyed the freedom on nights because all the suits were at home in bed. :-)
I also really like how the lighting makes the old furniture building look so surreal. Very nice night shot Marcus.

  6. Yeh I wasn’t happy the shack was there, miss the nice clean shot. Occasionally working as back up Toyota rep for my company sometimes comes in handy :)
