Late on a summer evening, ONT 1730 leads ONT 1734 and ONT 1809 on a northbound out of the Ontario Northland Yard in North Bay, ON. Bringing up the rear of the train was caboose ONT 124. Back when a release to wander the property was easily obtained, we had a great evening photographing lots of activity around the shop, an amazing collection of junk in the deadline, a southbound train arriving and this northbound departing.

  1. Nice lighting. It was great around there at one time, but now some of the locals have been a bit of a problem and as I understand it, the area is now off limits.
