Looking at the satellite imagery for this location, it looks like this area has changed dramatically! In this scene CN 275 is about to cross Mississauga Road on the western edge of Brampton. The type of power assigned to 275 has also changed significantly in the last 16+ years. GP40-2W CN 9584, SD40-2 BNSF 7319, and B40-8W BNSF 567 are a fine sight to behold as they race westward in the evening light.

  1. 275….. has been gone for 10 years… :) they combined it into 271.. and even that doesn’t seem to run anymore!

  2. BNSF 7314 would be a former CN SD40 upgraded by Alstom in the late 90s

  3. Great shot Matt and beautiful light! How things have changed indeed.
