Not often you see anything as bright as this coming down the pike !! A slew of new boxcars for the Providence and Worcester heading eastbound on the CN. Impressive!!

  1. Arnold, what are the chances you’d be out with the camera when this rolled by?
Funny, the first thing that came into my mind before I saw the date of the photo, “I wonder how long before they’re plastered in graffiti?”
Thanks for another great photo from the “good old days”.

  2. Thanks, Ronald. I wonder if these cars were around long enough to get covered in that proverbial graffiti ?? As you know, back in ’79 the only markings we saw regularly was on behalf of those “yard guys” as they marked rolling stock while they went thru with their papers.
Damn. The ‘good old days’ were good, weren’t they?
