On Thursday 1974-10-03 after a busy day of photography, all was quiet on the CP Cranbrook sub. at Elko as the moonlight broke through the clouds, allowing time for a long exposure of the depot and its clear order boards. It was a cold night, that one.

That depot is now part of the Cranbrook History Centre, 53 km to the northwest.
