Sunday after lunch at the Calder diesel shop finds this varied display of GMD engines. The west tower job at the right was pulling a string of cars with a bi-level of VW's next to the 1268. Also of interest, I stopped in at the east tower before coming here. Parked in a stub track there were 4 superintendent cars, the 61202,61201,61200 and 70067.

  1. Nice view of an assortment of power.

  2. Did you manage to wander down to city center yard? Maybe check out the CP High Level bridge transfer job?

Not on this occasion, 2 months earlier on Feb.23/85 I was there, (the above link). The shop track at that time was SW1200rs units only. No small switchers.

    Thanks Terry. :-)

  4. What a great mix of power. Nice photo Larry!

  5. Thanks Jason. :-)
The only thing missing are the 38-2′s, they are just out of frame to the left, (5501,5526,5532 and others).

  6. Everything is so clean and fresh too.
