The 0700 yard job is lifting National Steel Car, and in tow, are what may be the first new CN grain hoppers coming out of the plant. These will replace the current fleet of colourful cylindrical hoppers.. get 'em while you can, because this is the future of our grain trains on CN.

    Agreed, rather uninspired paint scheme. Not a fan of the weird off grey colour either.

    Is CN actually buying these or just leasing them? If they’re actually owned by a leasing company that may explain the small logo. Lot’s of cars a acquired this way nowadays. Once the lease is up CN can renew it or they can be patched for another user.
