  3. I do believe you are right Bill, tis is the present day Sutherland Street West. I moved to Caledonia in May 1988, and everything was paved then…but missed seeing the old F series engines on the Nanticoke turn. A classic photo. Great job!

  4. Just seeing this in the Favourites banner and giving it the star it deserves. Beautifully composed.

    As to the location, I would like to suggest this was taken on Forfar Street West which is just south of the bridge. If it was Sutherland Street West, I don’t there would’ve been time to then get to this next shot on the bridge given that it’s taken from south of the bridge:

    I think the shot on the bridge came first then a pivot to the right to get it over the crossing at Forfar.

    Regardless, it’s a memorable sequence !
