The GO station at Mount Pleasant (control point here is named Norval) offers a bit of a different view even with a bit of clutter thrown in. CN train 570 lately has been a good source for catching soon to be stored Dash-8's. Last week it ran with a full trio of them. Today one of the older GEVO's is up front as the power digs into the slight grade leaving Halton Hills behind them. The two trailing Dash-8's have been assigned to this train for a few weeks now.

  1. Why are the Dash-8′s being stored? Nice catch with the BCOL unit btw.

  2. Thanks guys…I guess I never heard it on the radio before…but then again, I’m not making it out much lately :(

  3. @Kevin. 570 has been around forever. It was kind of my regular job for awhile. CN uses it for varied assignments. It usually ran to Oshawa, but I have run to Belleville, London, Aldershot and Ft. Erie under the 570 assignment.

  4. Kevin, those are new AIM gons out of NSC

  5. Never heard of 570…also note the string of open hopper cars. Nice catch!

  6. Back to the future? Tomorrow is February 13th. Can you give me the winning lottery numbers?! :)
