The period of time that crude oil trains graced the Halton subdivision was quite short. For that period the motive power sometime could get interesting, including foreign power. The eastbound angle off the golf course bridge typically never works out on a sunny day but is definitely worth the megapixels even on a cloudy day with the mansion line clubhouse in the distance along with the Niagara escarpment. This day there was no foreign power in sight but I wasn’t complaining about the veteran GE’s in the consist. I was always a fan of CN’s original group of four window Dash-9’s and any type of Dash-8’s was always a bonus. I miss my time at mile 30.

  1. Once it warms up hope to see you out there.

  2. The Golf Bridge is considered “trespassing” but I never gave it much thought when it was off season. Otherwise, I behaved. This is a nice image. Makes me want to head up there. :o )
