Serviced six times per week by CP Rail passenger trains #164 (Tue Thur) #167 (M W F) & #172 (Sun) with Dayliners ( Budd Cars)


 At this time CP Rail  freight service was as needed, power typically either MLW RS10 and / or  RS18


 Last VIA Rail Passenger service: Nov 1981


 The CP Rail Ste. Agathe Subdivision from Ste. Agathe mile 44.4 northward officially abandoned December 1989 ( Ste Therese mile zero )

 in front of the Gare du Mont-Tremblant and across the main track is  Lac Mercier 


  today the Mount Tremblant station is the tourist kiosk Place de la Gare  ( google it )

    I was fortunate enough to ride behind the last nb steam powered ski train on New Years Eve , Dec 31, 1959.
    Love to see more – great picture !
