Caption: This hillside view shows Canadian Pacific's roundhouse and turntable at their yard in Goderich, Ontario. An abundance of "slab-side" covered hoppers and an old passenger car converted into an OCS work car are present. At this time, some of the harbour and salt facility in the background had not yet been expanded out.
The turntable survived into the 1980's but the roundhouse appears to have been demolished just after the end of the steam era (gone in this Bill Thomson photo). CP abandoned their Owen Sound Sub between Orangeville and Owen Sound in December 1995.
G.T. Brow photo, Dan Dell'Unto collection. This old slide had badly colour shifted and washed out, it took some coaxing to get it cleaned up and presentable.
