Three SD40-2 locomotives lead their train through downtown Nipigon. I had been waiting all morning for an eastbound (there's a neat bridge shot just outside of town) that never materialized so this was, at the time, a consolation prize. Nowadays, a train with power like this is something that I'd be chasing.

  1. Very nice, Craig. I found Nipigon a difficult place to set up any sort of shot that I liked. And the traffic isn’t what it used to be.

  2. Thanks, Arnold. I can attest to that – I spent the better part of two mornings waiting for an eastbound that never came. Shame.
