VIA 29 led by a F40PH-3 numbered 6454 with VIA's special 40th anniversary paint scheme. This photo has been taken at Saint-Apollinaire to the "Ghost bridge" or if your prefer the "pont fantôme" at milepost 16.2 on Drummondville Subdivision less than 2 miles from my house. I'm not a VIA fan but because this livery isn't to stay for long time in my opinion, I decided to catch it. So I'll have a souvenir to my photo collection.

  1. Quite the attractive consist!!!

  2. Thank you very much for your comment! the main purpose of this photo was the lead engin. I wanted the special livery to my photos collection you know. It’ll be a great souvenir someday when this locomotive will be repainted to its original scheme.

  3. I think this paint scheme is permanent, minus the 40th anniversary logo. But I could be wrong.

  4. I prefered to take no chances to miss it like I missed the 150th anniversary of Canada paint scheme… But if you’re right Stephen I could be able to take my chance with other locomotives. Thanks for your comment.
