When MLW units still played a significant role in the movement of freight on CN, a trio of them are shown on the inbound receiving track at MacMillan Yard on August 7th, 1983. The 2339 was the last of 3600 hp M636 units built for CN. It equals the horsepower of the trailing two RS-18 units, 3734 and 3118. I sure miss the variety we enjoyed back then.
