  1. CN MoW Work Equipment
The visible piece of CN MoW Work Equipment is CN 655-76 a Plasser model UYM8L Production Switch Tamper.
The partially hidden unit behind the tool house at the right of the frame is CN 613-54 a Bert Pyke Ltd. Model K ballast regulator.

  2. What a classic image of “The Way We Were.” This shot brings a big smile to my face.

  3. I can hear the rattle-clatter sounds of those lawn chairs being unfolded and feel the pinch from the straps on the back of my legs (when shorts were shorter and the chairs sometimes bit you).

Also – I would not have expected to see CPAA hi-cube boxcars going through this interchange of all places. I wonder what their routing was.

  4. This is very nice :)

We had a similar set-up at “The Berm” by CN Snake until recently, the chairs disappeared. Might re-appear :)

  5. Alas, these days, so might the ticks.

  6. Yes, the last time I was there was a couple years ago when the grass was really low , and it was just beginning of spring and it was OK.

It’s definately a beware situation. I hope ‘ol Snake is still watching us :)
