CP 143 rumbles down the hill as it enters Hamilton. After hearing about the Strathcona's unit (8939) leading a southbound, I rushed over to the Hamilton Sub. After taking a longer than ordinary to get down the hill, I saw the two American Gevos and a bluebird CEFX right behind 8939. What a nice surprise considering I missed an Amtrak heritage unit for it...

  1. Don’t worry about the Amtrak Heritage Units, they don’t stay gone for very long. The same one will stick around for a bit

  2. I’ve noticed that actually. Good thing they do

  3. That IS a nice collection of power. Too bad the sun is doing such a disappearing act on us lately.

  4. Yeah. Sun always pops out when I’m in school, not trackside.

  5. If you stood at York Rd bridge over the Desjardins Canal you’d be able to get both 97 AND 142.. and possibly even in the same shot.

  6. Alright. Thank you Steve
