RLHH 3404 leads a very late running 597 through Hagersville Ontario on a dreary and rainy Friday at 1300. SD40's 3404 and 3403 along with GP40-2W 3049 had a massive train of 80 cars in check as they blasted through town. I was questioning my sanity standing in the rain and I'm sure the crew was too, but it was worth the drive to Hagersville. A timely heads up from my sister that 597 was in Caledonia provided me with enough time to catch up to train.

  1. WOW! Days of railroading are good for the SOR!!! 3 engines and 80 cars in tow? Miss capturing this road since I moved to Chatham at the end of last year.

  2. Sweet catch! I’ve got to make it down there again one day.

  3. Hey, you’re a train buff. I am sure your sanity has been questioned by many, and often :o )
