With a departure from Kitchener after meeting 85, eastbound 432 was best photographed on a cloudy day around Guelph. So here's one of my many offerings along Kent St, this one posted to contrast this recently posted CN view of mine of the 'new' CN era. The four axle era on GEXR sure was sweet.I wonder what this will look like once Metrolinx puts back the siding that was removed.. which I'm told is coming soon.. very soon. (I'll believe it when it happens).
See the house for sale? I bet that sold in 2006 for about $250k.... dreams now.

  1. This was the GEXR I loved the best :)

  2. Exactly. You just never knew what they were going to throw together for a power consist.
It is a good thing we got some evidence of that when we did. This is a great example, and a perfect location.

  3. 4096 ex CN 4004 straight GP40 built 1966.

  4. classic GEXR :)
