The tail end of a Hamilton-bound TH&B train, powered by TH&B 73, 71 & 77 (posted a few years ago) passes the private drive to a Power Plant building in downtown Niagara Falls. Totally unrecognizable location now, this area is built up extensively with hotel towers and a casino, which sits on this once relaxing trainwatching spot. So fitting the photographer gets a healthy wave.

    The double cross bucks, on both sides of the crossing, I find are quite amazing.

    Love the double cross bucks with railway crossing spelled out, both in English no less ! No bilingualism here. And a nice “traditional “ wave from rear end train crew member – so nice, and now all of this gone including the van. Thanks for a small piece of nostalgic history, John

    Thanks, Lads. But geez, Brundle; awaiting my next entry?? I guess I should mention that after 2000 entries and 3 million views, I am taking a break. But then, it is largely because we are going on vacation to the Dakotas.

    Have a good vacation Arnold! Travel safe and congrats on #2000! This is a most interesting crossing, never seen this

    Does it have any lights that flash at top or is that just to illuminate the sign?

    Can’t say. I’d go with the illumination. Lot of fancy signage for a private road that goes only a couple of hundred feet.
