During a late summer evening, CP train 271 slowly departs the west siding switch Coakley in Woodstock on the Galt Subdivision with SD40-2 5420 leading a lengthy consist after meeting an eastbound. 
 
CP 5420 is former Kansas City Southern Railroad 675 and it would go on to enjoy a long second life on CP.

Back in the era of #271 running from Albany NY area to London, it was always a treat to see #271 running over the D&H to Binghamton and west to Buffalo, as it often had some great GP consists and colour combinations as well. This looks just like something I would have seen on the D&H and it brings back memories. Thanks!!
