After 44 years of service, Ontario Southland Railway President, Brad Jolliffe - at centre with hat in hand - has retired. Hiring onto the CPR London Division in April 1981, Brad would move into the shortline world in 1992 with the startup of the Goderich Exeter Railway, later moving to the Waterloo St. Jacob's Railway in 1997, and finally Ontario Southland Railway in 1998.

Taking the reigns of the operation is incoming President David Warne, to the right of Brad, and Vice President Kimberley Wilsie, to the left of Brad.

  1. What a tremendous image, Jacob!!! I trust Brad will now find more time to seek out ships on the canal and other notable transportation subjects, accompanied by his old film cameras.

  2. Congratulations to Brad and welcome to Mr. Warne – wishing all a healthy and successful 2026!

  3. The team!

  4. Congratulations Brad! All the best in your retirement.
