CP train 521 is viewed passing the site of the future downtown Hamilton, Ontario GO Transit Centre at the former Toronto Hamilton & Buffalo Railway (TH&B) station. At the time, construction was ongoing for the modern facility to open the following year on April 30, 1996. Also, the train is passing a new signal bridge that was already installed, however not functioning yet. 521 operated daily from Binghamton New York to Toronto and was powered by SD40 5409, GP9u 8209, RS18u 1803 and RS18u 1848.

  1. Nice shot man!

  2. Also the train is going through the platform, now they just use the ‘outside’ track to far right as the rest are GO only and single ended.

  3. Thanks Kevin and Steve for the comments.
