VIA 2, the eastbound Canadian is crossing the Columbia River bridge at Revelstoke BC with a colourful array of equipment. Apart from the Geep, it could easily pass for a Rapido Model Trains version of the Canadian.

  1. Steve that is a very good photograph! Your timing must have been great. Every time I had to be there I only took rail photos in the downtown area. Again, a great photograph with lots of history in it.

  2. Most excellent

  3. Wonderful Steve! I know for a fact that you have a few beauts (plus being so historically significant to railway milestones on the Rock)!

  4. Thanks Ken. All the best to you too. I’ll take a look at the NL slides and see what I can come up with.

  5. Beautiful image Steve and like you said, so colourful! I was fortunate to have ridden over this very same spot on September 24, 1988. Have you considered posting any of your Newfoundland images? Have a very Happy New Year! – Sincerely, Ken Pieroway
