  1. Awesome Jay! Great photo location

  2. Nice! Wish I could have seen this train in evening too! I even modeled after the GEXR Waterloo Spur in n scale and I included this station in the small diaphragm I have. I also have a model of LLPX 2236 as well as many more of the GEXR past or present geeps.

  3. Thanks Kevin!

  4. Your layout and model units sound interesting. I’ve always wanted to model the Waterloo Spur as well. From 2007-2009 I only ever managed to catch GEXR going up to Elmira during weekday evenings and occasionally when they would run extras on the weekends. I didn’t photograph really any GEXR movements on the line from 2010 to now as train 584 had basically become a nocturnal operation. Especially now with the addition of the ION system and the rules about GEXR operating over the Waterloo Spur between certain time frames.

  5. Thank you! I actually have videos on YouTube of it if you would be interested. Doubt really this site will take any photos of Model trains unless i maybe do a neat photo involving a comparison of a model unit aligned to the real one such as my LLPX 2236 lined next to the real unit at Kitchener VIA Rail. It’s cool that you show the same interest as me too in modeling this line! Hope some day you’ll be able to succeed!
