Everyone is out enjoying the beautiful weather these days; and for some asinine reason I thought this might be a good time to offer up an image taken in just about the lousiest weather imaginable. So here is Amtrak 348, eastbound on the Grimsby Sub as train #97, stopped at the old CN station at Ontario St in Grimsby. Damp, cold and downright miserable. Some days I wondered why I bothered.........

  1. I thing Mr. Mooney, we all do things for asinine reasons. Brave getting out in that weather

  2. Trying to avoid one? No, not at all. Nice try though.

  3. There must have been a woman involved.

  4. Appreciate the comment. I do forget what compelled me to drive the mileage from St. Kitts (where I was living at the time) just to see Amtrak in such awful weather. But I liked the station and had been ‘neglecting’ it. :o )

  5. I guess you bothered Arnold because you were recording history with shots like this and it is something never to be seen again. Great shot thanks.
