A fine image from Ron Tuff shows TH&B 402 leading a westbound, perhaps at Dewitt Rd. I imagine that this train is the crew returning to Aberdeen after an early morning jaunt to Welland. Sadly on this day the units are looking a little shabby.

  1. Don’t recognize this as DeWitt, but certainly a nice shot.

  2. I was not sure what road this was, took a stab at DeWitt. Ron labelled the slide as “Stoney Creek” but no road name.

  3. I posted a shot of the sign at DeWitt (#35877) and the key to this is that the sign is more on an angle as the road took a sharp turn as it come down the hill to cross the tracks.

  4. The CP red air tanks on the roof of the lead unit are an interesting detail.
