CN 1437 was recently purchased by the Waterloo Central Railway. The GMD-1u was assigned a notable role in 2003, being leased to the power-short Port Colborne Harbour Railway. It is seen here switching grain hoppers at the massive Robin Hood Flour elevator in Port Colborne. This was the same day Dad and I photographed TRRY 110 on Townline Road (between St. Catharines and Thorold) on their way to switch Interlake Paper seen here: http://railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=12045

  2. Great shot! Interesting to see the grass between the rails and the snow at right.

  3. This is really decent.

  4. Nice.

  5. As it would turn out I’ve recently learned CN had a pair of these assigned to RLHH Steel Train duties at around the same time.
