These "yellow" units really did not spend much time on CP before either being painted over or dealt off. They were former GATX units, leased by CP to the D&H (STLH) and eventually purchased by CP.  This particular one, CP 5430, was former GATX 2008 and a year after this image was taken was sold to Livingston Rebuild Center and became LLPX 4406, which I did catch leading a train on the Galt sub a few years after.
There were 10 SD40-2s leased from GATX (2000-2009) in 1991 and then purchased in 1994. I'm not sure how many actually made it to CP red.
Second unit on this #327 auto parts train, Buffalo to Talbotville, is #5577 and the train is just coming off the Welland Canal Bridge 6 on a rather dismal looking morning.
