I'm parked along the side of La Salle Blvd just northwest of the Sudbury city limits. I liked this location but parking was tricky. Busy road. Note the Sudbury water tower in the distant background. Something a bit different with this westbound train. An SD40A, 6406, is on the lead, followed by regular SD40-2 5726 and 5729. All five SD40A (6406-6410) designates were retired during 2001.

  1. A nice Sudbury view.

  2. Sudbury looks so different compared to other Canadian landscapes, you can always tell a picture was shot there even without looking at the caption! Great shot!

  3. You’re so right, Ian. But big things have happened!! They can now grow trees. :o )

  4. Excellent photo Arnold. And three duel flags painted SD’s together too, which was no easy feat.
