We're just to the east of Salmon Arm, and there is a nice stretch where the roadway parallels the CPKC main line.  A short wait gave us CP 7019 & KCSM 4533 eastbound. This location is mostly a cottage area just off of Trans-Canada Hwy 1.

    It is rather busy along there.
    Coming the other way was a CN with a KCS on CP.
    Nice to have a few surprises these days.
