Over the past few years, because of much longer trains there are obviously fewer trains operating. I have tried a few times to get a 'sunrise' photo at Paris West. Finally, this morning, I got one. You guys who go out early in the morning know how fast things change. The sun was peeking when the train arrived, and the full ball of glory was above the horizon by the time the train passed. Rolling by was CN 2274, 2538 and a long line of empty autoracks.

  1. Fantastic. You definitely got out early for that shot.

  2. Thanks, lad. It is almost as nice to be somewhere quiet for sunrise than it is to beat the weekend traffic.

  3. Nicely done, Arnold.

  4. Beautiful shot Arnold.
